Daniel Humm

Daniel Humm’s father hoped that his son would follow his footsteps in the architecture, but Humm applied his sense of design and structure in his cooking passion.

Humm began his training at the age of 14 and built his experience working in many fine restaurants in Switzerland, where he was born. After passing through the west coast of United States, in 2008 he moved to the east coast. There, he opened the restaurant Eleven Madison Park, in New York City, reaching the highest grade of The New York Times, in 2009, and the third star of The Michelin Guide, in the 2012 edition of the publication.
