Born in Porto Alegre – but passionate for Rio de Janeiro by choice –, Roberta is an intuitive and self-taught chef who spent seven years of her career to the Alvorada Palace.
She was the first woman to command the kitchen of the official residence of the president, assuming the responsibility for dinners and banquets dedicated to Brazilian and foreign authorities who have undergone Brasilia during the term of the president Fernando Henrique Cardoso.
The kitchen of Roberta is able to raise each ingredient in unexpected possibilities. The sense of the love for Brazil of her recipes reflects an original work, creative, with pure delicacy and endless freshness. Not for nothing, she runs the restaurant that has her name and that is currently considered one of the world’s top 100.
