Castelo do Batel, the place that hosted the edition of Curitiba
The dinner of Curitiba was held at Castelo do Batel, one of the most charming places of the city. The chefs explained their dishes to the public in kitchens that were set up on a stage, assembled specially for the event. It was a true gastronomic experience that involved the five senses of the guests.
The first edition of Goals for Life Copa Gastronômica was esteemed by the society of Curitiba, people who tasted, on first hand, a unique and unedited experience in the city, provided by the dinner – the chef experience. The preparation of the dishes was done live, on the style of “kitchen show”.
All the income obtained on the event was donated to the Pelé Little Prince Research Institute, which aims to increase the cure rates of complex diseases that afflict children and adolescents worldwide, decreasing the mortality of children and youths.
The chefs Claude Troisgros, Alex Atala, Celso Freire, Roberta Sudbrack and Flávia Quaresma formed the all-star team responsible for the gastronomic delight of the night.
